Welcome to the Foundation
The Foundation was created by Dr. Dana Jackson to support the removal of barriers to enrollment for families.
Our foundation provides scholarships, fundraising events, research and implementation management. We provide funds for the purchase of high quality instructional materials.
We have been tasked with finding the first location for Wonder Lab Academy. Our board has narrowed the location down to downtown Kansas City, MO.
We believe that this location will be supportive of our real-world, inquiry-based model. There are wonderful partnership opportunities and a thriving artist community.
WLA will fit right in.

Our scholarship application will go live on June 1, 2026 for Summer Learning and June 31, 2026 for Fall 2026 and Fall 2027 Enrollment. Check back here to apply.
Sports
Sports
The state of Kansas allows students to play KSHSAA-regulated sports while attending private schools. Parents interested in enrolling at Wonder Lab Academy should go to https://www.kshsaa.org/react/NP-eligibility/login to submit the application. Students will play sports in the district where they live.
